Unadulterated beauty in the purest sense of the word. This pristine white 1971 Alfa Romeo Montreal is all natural. And not only in terms of color, because basically this is how we received the Italian classic in our showroom: in superb condition!
However, we wouldn’t be Wim Prins if we didn’t finish the splendor of this car on some details. So we did. And this the result: a perfect Alfa for those who love perfection in a classy way.
Exterior
The brilliant Bianco lacquer on the stunning styled body of the sports coupé is just as dazzlingly beautiful as it is immaculate. The description ‚Art on Wheels’ covers is it all.
The Montreal is designed by Marcello Gandini, who was employed at Bertone at that time. Its appearance is artistic and extremely elegant. Especially in combination with this flawless and solid exterior paint. Characteristic features such as the lamellae in front of the headlights and the sharply styled back strike even more than it does normally. The air inlets on the sides of the car behind the doors and integrated „NACA” ducts in the bonnet contrast phenomenal with the smooth white coach. Thanks to her excellent condition, the 2+2 Alfa breathes nothing but pure nostalgia.
Interior
Open the door and the magic continues. Lowering yourself in the sky blue chairs is like tasting a well-made new recipe for the very first time: it’s exciting, but once you opened up it’s extremely tasteful.
Furthermore the upholstery is in magnificent shape. Just like the rest of the Montreal interior. The dashboard, analog instruments in splendid double sleeves, door panels, authentic three-spoke wooden steering wheel and even the chrome details on the doors and center console: every component is neat and has a dose of patina and style the most modern cars can only dream about.
To those who are interested in looking under the hood: you will be amazed once again, since this space is just as impeccable as the interior and exterior of the Montreal. Truly unique! Taking about “unique”: everything about this car is complete. Even the (original) spare tire is included.
